Consent for publication

All articles that include facts, photographs, or videos pertaining to an individual person must receive written informed consent from that person before these materials are published (in the case of an underage or less than 18-year-old individual, consent from the legal guardian should be obtained). If the individual has passed away, permission to publish must be obtained from their next of kin. A statement indicating written informed consent for publication was obtained must be included in the paper.

When photographs are completely unidentified and there are no details on the persons mentioned in the text, authorization for image publishing may not be necessary. The editor has the final say on whether consent to publish is necessary.
