Conflict of interest

The Journal of Neoteric Lifescience seeks authors to state any potential conflicts of interest in their work. A "conflict of interest" section detailing any competing interests (financial and non-financial) must be included at the end of every article that is submitted.

Editors and reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest, and if any, they may be restricted from participating in the peer review process. Furthermore, they should refrain from handling manuscripts if they have conflicting interests. This includes, but is not limited to, previously publishing with one or more of the writers and attending the same university as one or more of the authors.

When an editor or member of the editorial board is listed as an author, they must disclose this in the section on conflicting interests in the submitted article. Another editor or member of the Editorial Board will be designated to take charge of managing peer review if they are an author or have any other competing interests with regard to a given submission. These submissions go through the same review procedure as any other paper.

On submission, authors from pharmaceutical corporations or other commercial organizations that conduct clinical studies should state their conflicting interests.
